This is a north-facing 40 bed three storey building situated in Auckland park, Johannesburg. A low maintenance flush-jointed face brick finished aesthetic with steel and concrete accents to ensure complete the modern contemporary aesthetic. A rustic interior palette has been chosen to ensure the endure users’ comfort and building robustness.
The design is such that bulk of the rooms are north and courtyard facing to enhance the user experience and for improved thermal performance, therefore resulting in lower carbon footprint.
