The client is an entrepreneur in his prime, an avid car enthusiast and wine collector, with a partner who is a professional in finance. The house needed to be an escape from the busy city life, but also provide amenities to be able to perform their functions without any disturbance. The house is situated on the northeastern outskirts of Pretoria. The plot has a direct contact with the Estate Forest, which together with the morphology of the terrain and the view, was a defining element in the creation of the concept. The longitudinal elevation of the plot is 8.5m, transversely 4.2m.
